The governor of the Russian Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced that the Russian air defenses shot down several air targets in Belgorod region, resulting in the injury of a person and damage to power lines.
Sputnik Agency quoted Gladkov as saying in a statement published on his channel on Telegram, today, Saturday: "Our air defense system was activated over the Prokhorovsky area - several air targets were shot down."
He continued: "A man was injured in the leg in the village of Prilistnoye, and he was immediately provided with medical assistance by the ambulance team and will continue further treatment in an outpatient clinic." “In the village of Prokhorovka, a power line was damaged and lighting was temporarily cut off in several streets. In the village of Mikhailovka, a gas pipeline was damaged in one of the houses and a fence was damaged,” the governor added.
