A group of 620 Chilean lawyers demanded in a lawsuit the arrest of the Israeli soldier Sar Hershorin, from the 749th Battalion accused of committing crimes against humanity in the war of extermination on Gaza, who is currently in Chile.

According to the Palestinian Safa Agency, former ambassador Nelson Haddad, who represents the group of lawyers, provided details of the complaint submitted to the Office of the Attorney General of the Capital District, which stated: "We denounce the presence of an officer from the 749th Engineers Command in the Israeli occupation army in Chile."
