Dozens of health care workers in the US state of Michigan participated in a rally in the city of Detroit to pressure Congress and decision-makers to intervene immediately and stop the attacks on hospitals, health centers and health care workers in the Gaza Strip by the Zionist occupier.
According to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa", the rally comes as part of a massive campaign launched by the American organization "Physicians Against Genocide" under the slogan (Not Another Child, Not Another Hospital), to mobilize health sector workers to organize protests and press conferences in solidarity with Palestinian hospitals, doctors and nurses who are being killed and arrested by the Israeli occupier, while they are on duty in hospitals and medical centers that were destroyed and burned due to the ongoing bombing of the Gaza Strip.
Hundreds of American health workers participated in signing a petition addressed to the "American Academy of Pediatrics" demanding an end to the targeting and arrest of health care workers, the destruction of hospitals, the starvation and killing of children in Gaza, and an end to the war of extermination on the Strip.
