Sana'a-Saba:
Entesaf Organization for Woman and Child Rights condemned the murder of citizen Saif Mahmoud Faraj Al-Sharabi in the Al-Masbah neighborhood of Taiz Governorate by a member of armed militias.
In a statement issued to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the organization condemned the killing of citizen Al-Sharabi, who was murdered in front of his wife and daughters while defending his honor. The statement highlighted that over a week has passed since the crime, yet the perpetrator remains at large due to the failure of security services to apprehend him, as he is believed to be sheltered by military leaders. The statement condemned this horrific crime, which is rejected by Sharia, customs, and laws. It emphasized that threats and murder are serious violations of international humanitarian law, which prohibits the targeting of innocent civilians in any form.
The text highlights the ongoing aggression by a coalition led by the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, which has resulted in severe crimes and violations against the Yemeni people. It also addresses the armed groups supported and encouraged by this coalition, who are committing acts of violence against citizens in the areas under their control.
The statement held the aggression coalition and its mercenaries fully responsible for crimes targeting civilians. These crimes include systematic military operations, a suffocating siege, and the closure of Sana'a Airport. It called for an investigation and criminal accountability for the coalition's leaders and anyone proven to be involved in these acts.
It also held the United Nations and the Security Council accountable for their shameful silence and evasion of their duties, which encouraged the Saudi coalition to continue committing further war crimes against civilians in Yemen.
The organization urged the international community, human rights and humanitarian organizations, and all free people around the world to fulfill their moral and humanitarian obligations in support of the Yemeni people. This includes lifting the siege, opening Sana'a airport, condemning the horrific crimes committed by the Saudi coalition, and pressuring the United Nations—particularly the Security Council—to fulfill their duty to protect civilians and put an end to the war and all forms of aggression.
It renewed calls for an impartial international committee to investigate all crimes and massacres committed by mercenaries from coalition countries against civilians.
