Tehran - Saba:
The enemy in Lebanon relies on its complete air superiority and carries out bombing operations, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps said on Thursday, but when these operations extend to the ground, they stop, because Hezbollah has the power, management and weapons in ground battles.
"Our ground forces have a deep understanding of the threats. It is a correct awareness of the dangers and threats resulting from developments in the region, but also beyond. These developments have shown how the IRGC ground forces have adapted to new circumstances, and that the development of these forces is taking place in line with emerging needs," Major General Hossein Salami added in remarks carried by Tasnim International News Agency.
"If the enemy has absolute air superiority in Gaza, targeting the defenseless population day and night who lack any air defense structure, it will be defeated and stopped on the ground, and lose the upper hand. This is because the men of Gaza, despite all the armament restrictions, have calm hearts, steady steps, and broad chests. The ground is solid for them, and they are steadfast on it like solid mountains."
He said if the enemy in Lebanon relies on its complete air superiority and carries out bombing operations, it will stop when the operations extend to the ground. This is because Hezbollah has the power, planning, and weapons in ground battles, "even the fate of the Syrian regime was determined on the ground, as the battles there were mainly ground battles, with a very limited air dimension."
He added that despite the continuous development in aerospace and space technology, ground forces remain the decisive and determining factor in achieving the ultimate goals of any war.
"People should know that their sons in the IRGC and Basij are putting everything they have to defend the dignity, peace, comfort, progress, and well-being of the people until the last drop of their blood and until the last man. They do not hesitate to sacrifice, they monitor threats, their eyes are always open, their steps are steady, and their hands are on the trigger," the IRGC commander-in-chief said.
