The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned on Friday the US-British-Zionist tripartite aggression on Yemen, considering it the height of violation of international laws and principles and the UN Charter.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei said that the aggressive attacks targeting infrastructure and civilian facilities in Yemen on Friday, which coincided with the million-strong demonstrations of the honorable Yemeni people in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and condemning the genocide in Gaza, are clear evidence of the complicity of America and Britain in the crimes committed against the Palestinian people.
Baghaei stressed that the escalation of military aggression by America, Britain and the occupying Zionist entity against Yemen cannot divert public attention from the scale and depth of the crimes committed in Gaza.
He reiterated the legal and moral responsibility of all governments, international and Islamic institutions to stop the genocide and flagrant violations of international humanitarian law in occupied Palestine, noting the UN Security Council's commitment to preventing aggressive measures against Yemen.
Baghaei also strongly condemned the inaction of international organizations towards the genocide carried out by the Zionist entity, and the expansion of the scope of igniting wars by this entity and its supporters.
