Occupied al-Quds - Saba:
Representatives of the families of Israeli enemy prisoners demanded on Tuesday that Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secure a deal guaranteeing the return of all detainees held in the Gaza Strip, with a specific and pre-determined timeline.
This request was made during a meeting with Netanyahu in his office in occupied al-Quds, amid growing expectations of an imminent deal for a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange with Hamas, according to the Israeli newspaper *Yedioth Ahronoth*.
The newspaper reported that the family representatives insisted on a deal that ensures the return of the last detainee from Gaza, with the conditions and timeline clearly established in advance.
Private Zionist Channel 12 quoted the families as saying, “The prime minister made it clear to us that the negotiations involve a deal that includes everyone.” They further stated, “We are at a critical juncture, and a deal is closer than ever, but we are concerned about the second and third phases.”
The families called for continuous progress between the stages of the deal, urging that the second phase begin immediately after the first stage concludes, with the process continuing until all detainees are released.
They also emphasized the urgency of not limiting the efforts to secure the return of all detainees after the 16th day of the agreement’s entry into effect, stressing that every moment is crucial. The families expressed that Netanyahu’s commitment will be proven when all the detainees are safely returned home.
Outside Netanyahu’s office, several families of the prisoners held protests, according to Channel 12.
