Ramallah - Saba:
The Zionist enemy forces arrested on Tuesday a photojournalist while trying to travel from the West Bank to Jordan through "al-Karamah" land crossing, near the city of Jericho, east of the occupied West Bank.
The "Prisoners' Media" human rights office said in a statement the enemy forces stopped the Palestinian photographer and director Abdullah Mu'tan, 30 years old, from the village of Burqa, east of the city of Ramallah, on the Zionist side of"al-Karamah" crossing, arrested him and transferred him to an unknown location.
The Qamat Foundation for Documenting the Palestinian Struggle condemned the enemy's arrest of director Abdullah Mu'tan.
It added "Mu'tan is one of the founding members of Qamat, who directed many works that documented honorable individual struggle experiences."
"Qamat" confirmed that the arrest of Mu'tan while traveling from Palestine abroad falls within the framework of a systematic policy aimed at silencing the Palestinian voice, targeting young activists and depriving them of freedom of travel and movement.
"Qamat" called on international, human rights, media and human rights organizations to urgently intervene to release him and expose these unjust violations against Palestinian youth.
