The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, on Saturday saluted "happy Yemen, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik bin Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the noble, brave and steadfast Yemeni people for the sacrifices they made for the sake of Palestine.
In his speech during the 13th International Conference (Gaza, the Symbol of Resistance), he also saluted noble Iraq with its authority, people, mobilization and support for the Palestinian cause.
"May Allah bless you all and make us among the people of victory on the path of truth with the victory of Gaza and all the victories of the resistance."
Sheikh Qassem congratulated the Palestinian people, the people of Gaza, and the resistance fighters, for "this agreement that has not changed from what was proposed in May 2024, indicating the steadfastness of the resistance that took what it wanted, and the Zionists were unable to obtain what they wanted."
He added that "this agreement is an extortion in the interest of the Palestinians, despite the Zionist-American criminality against our people in Gaza."
"Now every Palestinian child will be born a resistance fighter, and we must read carefully the entity's huge losses in the army, economy, psychological, educational, and political situation. Israel is now an outcast on the international level, its image is bleak, and the condemnation of the International Criminal Court is enough to know the extent of this great impact that the resistance of the Palestinian people has had, and in which it has exposed this Zionist entity."
"Lebanon has offered its most precious things through Hezbollah, the Amal Movement, and the Lebanese people.. saying: "Lebanon has offered and Hezbollah has offered the Secretary-General of the party, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, at the top of the list, and offered Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, the jihadist leaders, the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners, all of that in support of Gaza and to repel the aggression against Lebanon."
"Confronting Hezbollah in Lebanon contributed to supporting Gaza, and the resistant youth stood as an impregnable barrier against the advance on the front in a legendary confrontation, and their honorable families protected, supported, and backed.. Likewise, Hezbollah and the resistance fighters have thwarted Israel's goal of ending the resistance in Lebanon, which came out proud and with its head held high."
He noted that "the Aqsa Flood has revived the Palestinian cause and its echo and interest in it has reached all parts of the world, to the point that we have seen demonstrations in America, France, Britain, and Western countries, and this is a real revolution in the global scene."
"The war of Israel and America on Gaza is their project for Palestine, their project is the project of annihilation and the elimination of the name of Palestine from the international map of existence.. Imam Khomeini records this faith and strategic dimension in his view of the Zionist occupation, when he said: 'Israel' must be eliminated from existence', because this entity is an aggressive entity and eliminates the rights of the Palestinian people."
Sheikh Qassem added that "the struggling and honorable Palestinian people with all their spectrums, with their youth, men, women, children, and their brave and great resistance, and the steadfast resistance fighters present in the field, are the pride of the nation and the title of dignity and the makers of the future of liberated Palestine with Jerusalem, Allah willing, as a symbol of liberation."
He stated that "the resistance fighters and the Palestinian people have thwarted the dangerous plan of "Israel", and the great sacrifices they have made and the legendary steadfastness are indicators of the worthiness of this people and their resistance to regain their land, and they are capable of doing so. Steadfastness now is the foundation of the future."
He explained that "the sacrifices were great... The head of Hamas's political bureau, Ismail Haniyah, was assassinated, and the head of the political bureau who followed him, Yahiya Sinwar, 160,000 martyrs and wounded, and there is systematic destruction of Gaza, but these sacrifices are what stopped the sinful project and prevented the cancellation of the Palestinian cause, and will establish, Allah willing, the future."
He also explained that "the alternative to these sacrifices during the stages of the war is surrender... The people came out honorable and the resistance carried its weapons, and the struggling Hamas movement and the Al-Qassam Brigades proved their worthiness in leading the resistance and its steadfastness, and with them the Islamic Jihad and the Al-Quds Brigades in the field of giving, and with them all the resistance factions, honorable people and mujahedeen."
He also focused on the fact that "this people in the Zionist entity will not be stable in Palestine, wait for the coming days and months to see the repercussions... As for the internal differences within the Zionist entity, they will increase, Allah willing, and there is no solution in Palestine except by returning Palestine to its people."
In this regard, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah said "history will record, as the field recorded, those who supported Gaza with sacrifices and giving and contributed to breaking the Zionist enemy's project.. The most prominent contributor is the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Imam Ali Khamenei, who did not miss an opportunity to emphasize standing with the Palestinian people to liberate from the sea to the river, and provided all kinds of military, moral, material and political support and the blood of martyrs for the sake of Palestine."
He stated that "the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran and the Quds Force worked with all their energy and offered martyrs on the path to liberating Palestine." He pointed out that "Iran has been punished for decades because it directed its compass towards liberating Jerusalem." He paid tribute to "the Iranian people who supported, backed and followed this great leadership of Imam Khamenei in supporting Palestine."
Sheikh Qassem said "the resistance in Lebanon will remain resistant to the American-Zionist project. It is continuing, strong, ready, and faithful to the blood of the martyrs to liberate the land, to liberate Palestine. We have been patient with the violations to give an opportunity to the Lebanese state responsible for this agreement, along with the international sponsors, but I call on you not to test our patience, and I call on the Lebanese state to be firm in confronting the violations that have exceeded hundreds. This matter cannot continue. The agreement is exclusively in the south of the Litani River."
He added: "Thank Allah, we came out with our heads held high and our weapons in the hands of the resistance, and Resolution 1701 is a general framework. As for the plans to benefit from the resistance and its weapons, they are being discussed within the defensive strategy and through dialogue within the framework of preserving Lebanon's strength, sovereignty, and independence. No one will be able to exploit the results of the aggression in domestic politics, as the political path is separate from the situation of the resistance."
Qassem continued: "Our contribution as Hezbollah and the Amal Movement is what led to the election of the president by consensus, General Joseph Aoun, and no one can exclude us from effective and influential political participation in the country, as we are a basic component in the composition of Lebanon and its renaissance. Some of the foolishness in highlighting our exclusion from the stage are bubbles that will appear later."
