The spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, called on the displaced Palestinians in the southern Gaza Strip this evening, Saturday, not to rush and return to the north.

Major Basal said: "Citizens are prohibited from going to the Netzarim Axis, and we call on citizens not to rush to return to the northern Gaza Strip for fear of the remnants of the war," indicating that 90% of the homes in the northern Gaza Strip were completely or partially destroyed and returning to them poses a danger.
