Hajjah - Saba:
Hajjah Governor Hilal Al-Sufi inspected the progress of the project to rehabilitate the waste dump in the Qadam area in the governorate center.
The project, implemented in coordination with the relevant authorities at 50 million riyals, funded by Save the Children, includes building walls and pockets to protect agricultural lands at the bottom of the dump, fencing, and building a dump administration, in addition to a 38 cubic meter ground tank.
The governor listened to Hamza Sharaf Al-Din, the executive director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in the governorate, explaining the progress of work, the percentage of completion, the difficulties faced, and ways to overcome them.
During the visit, the governor of Hajjah stressed the importance of completing the project according to specifications and within the specified deadline to ensure mitigating the environmental impact in neighboring areas, noting the integrated efforts in supporting and implementing the project.
The executive director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund indicated that the project comes within the fund's plan to improve the level of work, appreciating the role of the local authority leadership in the governorate and the interest of the relevant authorities and the support of the project's implementing partner.
