The Judicial Inspection Authority (JIA) launched its field visit to the courts of Saada Governorate, as part of the surprise inspection plan for the third session of the year 1446 AH, to follow up on the work of the courts, addressing stalled cases, and listen to citizens' complaints.
During the visit, the head of the surprise inspection department, Judge Sadiq Al-Sarhani, and the head of the inspection committee in the governorate, Judge Hassan Zaid, met with the head of the Court of Appeal, Judge Suleiman Al-Shamiri, the head of the Appeal Prosecution, Judge Ibrahim Jahez, and the judges of the primary courts.
The meetings addressed evaluating the performance of the courts, following up on stalled cases, accelerating the completion of rulings, and improving judicial procedures while emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the courts and the prosecution to achieve prompt justice. Judge Al-Sarhani announced the establishment of a special department to follow up on stalled cases and prisoners, given its importance in improving judicial work.
The head of the Court of Appeal praised the importance of the role of judicial inspection in enhancing performance and addressing shortcomings, stressing the need to provide the administrative cadres and necessary equipment to support the courts.
The committee also visited the primary courts in Saada and Sahar and the criminal court and discussed with judges and employees the work mechanisms, the progress of sessions, and the necessary needs to improve performance. The committee members listened to citizens' and lawyers' complaints and suggestions to develop judicial work and ensure the speedy completion of cases.
