Sana'a - Saba:

The Judicial Inspection Authority launched on Monday a field visit to the courts in Hajjah province to evaluate their performance, address citizens' complaints, and ensure the efficient handling of cases, in line with the directives of the Authority’s Chairman and the Surprise Inspection Department’s third-quarter plan for 1446 AH.

The visit was led by Judge Sadiq a-Sarhani, Head of the Surprise Inspection Department, who highlighted the focus on improving judicial performance, expediting stalled cases, and addressing issues such as prisoners' cases, executive cases, and appeals related to detention decisions.

He emphasized the Authority’s commitment to supporting judges in overcoming challenges and improving judicial processes.

Judge Abdulmawla al-Qaderi, a member of the Judicial Inspection Authority, reiterated the importance of the surprise inspection plan, emphasizing the urgent need to resolve pending cases, particularly those involving prisoners.

The visit included discussions with the heads and employees of the Hajjah Court of Appeal, as well as tours of courtrooms, judges' offices, and other facilities.

The inspection team also reviewed the procedures for case registration, data management, and progress tracking, while listening to citizens' complaints.

The visit focused on enhancing judicial efficiency and ensuring that stalled cases are addressed swiftly, with a particular focus on improving the handling of prisoner cases.
