Al Bayda Governor Abdullah Idriss today inspected the conditions of the injured in the gas station explosion incident in Al Nasifa district in Az Zahir district in Al Bayda who are receiving treatment at the Burns Center of the Republican Hospital Authority in Sana'a.
Governor Idriss, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development Nasser Al-Mahdar, listened from the head of the hospital authority, Dr. Mohammed Jahaf, to an explanation about the therapeutic interventions for the victims of the incident, numbering 59 cases, and the services provided by the center, pointing to the level of progress in treating the cases that receive full health care.
During the visit, the governor of Al Bayda praised the efforts of the leadership of the authority, the center, and its health cadres to meet the needs of the injured for medical care, in implementation of the directives of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, and the follow-up and interest of the commander of the Seventh Military Region in providing the necessary care for the injured and providing medicines and medical supplies.
He noted the interaction of the official and popular authorities in the governorate, and the good people with the victims of the unfortunate incident, expressing his appreciation for the readiness of the Republican Hospital Authority to establish a department to treat burns in Al Bayda and to train cadres in a way that contributes to alleviating the suffering of the people of the governorate.
Governor Idris confirmed the governorate leadership's readiness to provide the department's requirements in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
While the wounded, injured and their families expressed their appreciation for the interest of the Republican Hospital Authority, the leadership of the local authority in Al Bayda Governorate, and all the collaborators and contributing parties.
During the visit, sums of money were distributed to the wounded, and the local authority was prepared to provide 100 albumen vials.
