Florentino Perez was re-elected as president of Real Madrid for a new term until 2029 after winning unopposed.

The club said in a statement today, Monday: "With no other candidate, Perez will remain president of Real Madrid until 2029." Perez was first elected president of Real Madrid in 2000, before resigning in 2006, and returning to the club's presidency in 2009. Perez led Real Madrid to win the Spanish League title five times, and the Champions League six times (2002, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2022), in addition to a large number of other titles.
