Sana’a - Saba: By the Political Editor

In a speech delivered Monday evening, on the occasion of the historic and monumental victory granted by God to the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza, the leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, emphasized that Yemen’s military operations are tied to the extent of the Zionist enemy’s adherence to the agreement. He stated that Yemen’s readiness is high, with fingers on the trigger.

The Palestinian cause, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and all sacred sites remain enduring issues, with the Palestinian people entitled to freedom and independence from an occupation that represents one of the greatest sins of modern times. This historical crime against Palestine was initiated by the infamous British figure Balfour, who granted a promise to Zionist gangs, offering them Palestine as their homeland. From that day to the present, the crime continues against Palestine—its land and people—through heinous massacres perpetrated by settler militias.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik outlined Yemen’s potential contributions to supporting the Palestinian cause and the preparations being made for any future confrontations with the enemy. He affirmed Yemen’s full readiness to intervene immediately if the Israeli enemy resumes its escalation and genocide in Gaza, despite widespread official Arab complacency and the negative stance of certain Arab regimes, as well as the severe shortcomings of the Palestinian Authority.

The events and facts have proven that resisting occupation is an indispensable option for the pursuit of dignity, regardless of the risks and sacrifices. This path is the one currently being followed by the people of Palestine.

Reflecting on the Palestinian struggle against occupation and the Arab and international stances toward it, Yemen has consistently stood at the forefront, with a long history of supporting the armed Palestinian struggle since the outbreak of the Palestinian revolution. Yemen's unwavering position is rooted in principle, offering support to a cause that deserves solidarity—not only with money and weapons but also with men.

Now, after decades of the Arab-Palestinian conflict, the Palestinian cause is entering a critical and pivotal phase, marked by the bold military operations carried out by Palestinians. These operations have shaken the political and military balance of the Zionist enemy and its allies, signaling the writing of a new chapter in the history of the struggle against the occupying entity. This time, however, it is being written through the barrel of a gun, wielded by Hamas fighters in a surprise military operation that the Western world and the U.S. were unable to comprehend due to its severity against their cherished entity in Palestine.

The disgraceful stance of Arab and Islamic regimes toward the Palestinian cause has been exposed, stripping away any remaining illusions about the independence of their national decisions. It has become clear that many of these regimes remain under colonial influence, taking orders from the White House and European colonial powers.

Nonetheless, the Al-Aqsa Flood operation has shifted the balance of power and established new dynamics in the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people. It has brought significant military achievements within occupied Palestine and garnered international public opinion that continues to support the Palestinian struggle and the justice of its cause.
