The acting governor of the Russian Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, announced that air defense systems shot down nine drones in Rostov region.. confirming that there were no human losses or material damage.
Slyusar wrote on his Telegram channel, saying: "Russian air defense forces and means repelled an enemy air attack on Rostov region."
He added: "So far, nine drones have been shot down.. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties."
He continued: "The emergency services on duty have not received any information about damage on the ground."
Ukrainian forces target, on an almost daily basis, Russian border areas such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh and Crimea regions with drones and missiles.
