A meeting of the leadership of the College of Agriculture and Food Sciences at Ibb University, chaired by the university president, Dr. Nasr Al-Hujaili, on Wednesday discussed ways to develop the educational process theoretically and practically.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Vice Presidents of Academic Affairs Dr. Abdullah Al-Falahi, Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Fuad Hassan, and Dean of the College Dr. Ali Miyas, the outcomes of the previous meeting with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and the head of the Agricultural Research and Extension Authority were reviewed to benefit from joint cooperation in developing the educational process , describing programs and courses with a focus on applied aspects in order to reach outputs capable of raising the level of plant , animal production and food industries.
The university president stressed the importance of redoubling efforts, working in a team spirit, harnessing the available resources to improve the level of theoretical and practical performance in accordance with quality standards.
He pointed out that the development of the process in the college is carried out according to a clear vision that aims to improve the quality of education and scientific research, contribute to meeting the needs of society, achieve sustainable development and contribute to the advancement of the agricultural sector.
