The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" called on Thursday to unify the Palestinian ranks to confront the Zionist settlement plans in the occupied territories.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, the movement said in a statement that the Zionist enemy's announcement of plans to build more than ten thousand settlement units in Jerusalem is a new violation that comes within the framework of the comprehensive war on the Palestinian people.
It pointed out that these measures aim to impose new facts on the ground in an attempt to impose its alleged sovereignty over the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
It warned of the repercussions of these dangerous settlement measures, and called for unifying the Palestinian ranks to confront this Zionist encroachment, and engaging in a comprehensive national program to confront the malicious plans, and activating the resistance struggle until the occupation is defeated and the independent Palestinian state is established with Jerusalem as its capital.
