Tehran-Saba:
Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami has considered that despite the loss of families and friends, the Palestinians are happy, while the Zionist officials feel depressed, disturbed and surrendered.
Iranian news agencies quoted Salami during a meeting in the Iranian city of Kashan as saying "If Gaza had been defeated, Islam would have been defeated." He stressed that "the resignation (of some Zionist officials) after the war is a sign of defeat, and they openly admit that."
He added "The enemies destroyed homes, killed Muslim men and women, and killed young children in their mothers' arms, as the entire Gaza Strip was destroyed, but "the hearts of the Palestinians were strong and they emerged victorious in these circumstances."
Salami stressed that his country "is not afraid of the economic siege imposed by the enemy," saying "The Iranian people take firm steps, think, know the enemy, and never pay attention to propaganda, false atmospheres and rumors, and no force can defeat it."
He pointed out that "all the wars of the enemies, led by America and the Zionists, are taking place in Islamic countries," saying "The enemies have ignited huge fires in Muslim countries, and nothing like jihad can extinguish these fires, and when you look at the wars that have taken place, you will find that they were all in Islamic countries."
