Mass protests in Sana'a celebrate Gaza's victory, reject U.S. terrorist designation of Ansarullah

Sana'a - Saba:

Following Friday prayers, mass events erupted across Sana'a province, celebrating the historic victory of Gaza's resistance.

Thousands of participants gathered in various districts, chanting slogans condemning Zionist, American, and British threats and aggression against Yemen and the broader region.

The participants reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to defend their homeland and continue supporting the Palestinian cause.

They strongly denounced the recent U.S. decision to classify Ansarullah as a terrorist organization, which they linked to Yemen's stance in supporting Gaza.

The participants criticized the U.S. for trying to intimidate Yemen with this designation, calling America the "mother of terrorism" and accusing it of creating global crises.

A statement from the Islamic Resistance Movements, including Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and al-Quds Brigades, praised the victory in Gaza and condemned the U.S. for targeting Ansarullah, asserting that the decision would destabilize the region further.

The statement emphasized that the real perpetrators of terrorism are those responsible for the bloodshed in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan.

It called on the international community and human rights organizations to condemn the U.S. classification, warning of its potential impact on Yemen’s humanitarian situation.

The statement stressed that this action would only strengthen Sana'a's commitment to the Palestinian cause and its opposition to American and Israeli enemy policies.

It pledged to continue their steadfast support for Palestine and vowed to escalate their resistance if needed, preparing for further mobilization to confront any hostile actions.

The protests underscored Yemen's enduring solidarity with the Palestinian people in their fight for justice.
