Gaza - Saba:
The Palestinian Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip called on Palestinian citizens, on Sunday evening, to wait until the date of return from the south to the north is officially announced.. stressing the need to follow official instructions to ensure their safety.
The Civil Defense stated in a statement reported by the Palestinian Information Center that the Zionist enemy still poses a real threat, with the possibility of unexploded ordnance in some areas.
The Civil Defense called on citizens to adhere to the instructions of the competent authorities; to avoid risks and preserve lives in these difficult circumstances.
The ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between the Palestinian resistance and the Zionist enemy forces came into effect last Sunday, after 471 days of genocide committed by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
The displaced people from the south of the Gaza Strip were scheduled to return to the north today, Sunday, on foot via Rashid-Bahr Street, while vehicles are allowed to cross Salah al-Din Street, one way only, according to the ceasefire agreement between the resistance factions and the enemy entity.
The head of the Zionist entity's government, Benjamin Netanyahu, is still procrastinating in opening the way for the displaced to return, linking their return to the release of prisoner Arbel Yehud, whose release is hindered by "security conditions," according to the Palestinian resistance.
For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas confirmed that it is following up with mediators to prevent the Zionist enemy from returning the displaced people, noting that this measure is a violation and breach of the ceasefire agreement.
