A member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, along with the Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water, Dr. Ali Saif Mohammed, on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the water project for the area of Majz - Al-Jaamla - Dahyan - Al-Hamati, with a total cost of 800 thousand dollars funded by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
During the laying of the foundation stone in the presence of Deputy Minister of Electricity and Water Adel Saleh Bader and a number of deputy governors of Sa'ada province, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi emphasized the importance of the water project in the area of Majz, Al-Jaamlah, Dahyan, Al-Hamati, to alleviate the suffering of the people of the region.
The member of the Supreme Political Council pointed out the keenness of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to support electricity and water projects in various provinces of the Republic, including Sa'ada, which has been deprived of many service and development projects.
The Minister of Electricity, Energy , Water and his deputy stressed that the water project in Majz, Al-Jaamla, Dahyan and Al-Hamati in Sa'ada reflects the directives of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council and the program of the government of change and construction in supporting service projects in the province.
They explained that the project comes within the framework of the implementation of projects to restore the infrastructure destroyed by the US, Saudi and Emirati aggression in the province in general and Majzar district in particular.
