A meeting chaired by Taiz Province Undersecretary for Development Affairs Abdulwase Al-Shamsi discussed the mechanisms of agricultural community work for the projects of the administrative body of the multi-purpose Agricultural Cooperative Society of Al-Salow.
The meeting, which included the director general of Al-Salow district, Adel Shaalan, the agricultural sector official in the province, Engineer Abdullah Al-Jundi, the executive director of the Agricultural Cooperative Union branch, Amer Al-Ahdal, the head of the Al-Salu Association, Fuad Al-Hadabi, and the mobilization official in the directorate, Mohammed Saeed, reviewed the needs of the association, the difficulties it faces and mechanisms to address them to improve agricultural work in the directorate.
The meeting urged the members of the association to work together in accordance with the statutes and bylaws as part of the project to promote real community partnership to reach self-sufficiency, and to stimulate and activate community initiatives.
In addition, Al-Shamsi, Al-Jundi, Al-Ahdal, Shaalan and Al-Hadabi were briefed on the planting of maize during the emergency winter planting in Al-Mashjab in the directorate, through white loans for seeds through the agricultural sector and the cooperative union in the province.
