The Women's Committee in al-Jabin district of Raymah province organized a speech event on Monday to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh al-Sammad, under the slogan "A hand protects and a hand builds."
Speeches delivered at the event highlighted the significant humanitarian, moral, and courageous contributions of the late President al-Sammad, who sacrificed his life in defense of Yemen’s freedom and independence.
The speakers reflected on key moments from his life, particularly his leadership during times of aggression, and his commitment to patriotism and responsibility in guiding the nation through the challenges posed by external aggression.
The participants emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from al-Sammad’s legacy in confronting external threats and continuing his path.
They also reiterated the importance of his development project, which focused on both safeguarding the nation and building a prosperous future for Yemen.
