Sana'a - Saba:
A training course in first aid for members of the Road Traffic Police and traffic control was launched in Sana'a, organized by the Traffic Police in coordination with the Yemen Red Crescent Society. The three-day course aims to provide 102 trainees with ambulance skills and immediate rescue of traffic accidents on long lines between governorates.
At the opening, Colonel Mohammed Al-Bahashi stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior and the traffic police to develop the skills of their cadres in rescue and ambulance, while Dr. Jaber Rassam from the Yemen Red Crescent Society praised the importance of training in enhancing traffic services.
The course includes theoretical lectures and practical exercises on "CPR, rapid examination, handling of suffocation, fractures, and wounds, and ambulance in mass injuries, to improve the response of traffic personnel to accidents and save lives.
