Russian forces have liberated the town of Yambolovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
It added in a statement: "Units of Russia's West Group forces continued their offensive operations and liberated the town of Yambolovka in the Donetsk People's Republic. Russian forces targeted the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces in several areas of Kharkov province, the Lugansk People's Republic and the Donetsk People's Republic, and Kiev's forces lost more than 205 servicemen, combat vehicles , a number of field guns, an electronic warfare station and an ammunition depot were destroyed," the statement said.
The statement continued: "Units of the Russian "South" group forces took control of more advantageous lines and positions, targeted manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several areas of the Donetsk People's Republic, the enemy's losses amounted to up to 210 servicemen, an armored combat vehicle and several field guns."
"Units of the Russian "East" group forces continued to advance deep into the enemy's defenses, targeting the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several areas of the Donetsk People's Republic and Zaporozhye district, with losses of more than 175 servicemen, armored combat vehicles and a number of artillery pieces," it noted.
"Tactical operational aviation, attack drones, missile and artillery forces of the Russian armed forces groups damaged the infrastructure of military airfields, production plants, storage depots for unmanned aerial vehicles, a fuel station of the Ukrainian armed forces, enemy manpower and equipment concentrations in 144 areas," the statement added.
"Russian air defense systems shot down 14 HIMARS missiles and 73 Ukrainian drones.
