The representative of the Central Emergency Interventions Unit (CEIU) in Sana'a province, Engineer Osama Al-Shami, along with the Director of Bani Matar District in Sana'a province, Yahya Al-Qanous, inspected the progress of work on a number of community initiatives in Al-Hadab district and Bani Qais quarter.
Al-Shami and Al-Qanous were briefed on the level of completion of work on the road in the village of Al-Hussein in Bani Swar district and the main road that connects a number of villages in Al-Hadab district to the asphalt line in Al-Aman market, and the role of the community in supporting the intervention unit in repairing the road and the difficulties facing the continuation of work in a manner that ensures the success of the initiative.
During the visits, Al-Shami and Al-Qanous emphasized the keenness of the local authority in the provincr and the directorate to cooperate with the concerned authorities to support the efforts of the community and provide facilities and support within the framework of what is possible and available to support community initiatives, especially in the field of roads and water.
They pointed out the importance of the role of the community in activating initiatives and participating with the official authorities in achieving sustainable development, especially in light of the circumstances the country is going through.
Al-Qanous praised the efforts of the Central Emergency Intervention Unit and its role in supporting the efforts of the community and the leadership of the local authority in implementing a number of community initiative projects in the field of roads.
