Occupied Quds - Saba:
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor considered that "Israel's" decision to prevent the two members of the European Parliament, Lynn Boylan and Rima Hassan, from entering the occupied Palestinian territories is an arbitrary and unjust decision, and reflects contempt for human rights, including freedom of opinion, expression and movement.
The Euro-Mediterranean Monitor explained in a statement that this decision reflects the systematic blackout policy pursued by "Israel" in the occupied Palestinian territories to prevent independent oversight and uncover the facts.
It added that "Israel" seeks through these measures to obscure evidence of its violations and monopolize the narrative of events in a way that serves its interests.
It also pointed out that this ban reflects the illegal control over Palestinian crossings and borders, and undermines relief operations and independent investigations. It stressed that the sometimes weak European position towards Israeli crimes has encouraged "Israel" to escalate its repressive practices against Europeans.
