Ramallah - Saba:
Today, Thursday, the seventh batch of released Palestinian prisoners arrived in the city of Ramallah, as part of a prisoner exchange between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation government.
Palestinian citizens began gathering at the Ramallah Cultural Palace at 11 pm on Wednesday to receive the released prisoners. As the residents prepared, the occupation forces carried out attacks on some homes in the area, storming the home of the family of prisoner Atef Jabr Abu Aliya in the village of Al-Mughayyir, and closed the area surrounding the prisoners' homes in Beit Hanina, threatening residents with arrest if they celebrated the release of the prisoners.
The Palestinian Red Crescent also reported that its crews headed to Hadassah Hospital to receive the injured prisoner Kazem Zawahra, who is in a coma, and transfer him to Bethlehem. At the same time, the Red Cross prepared to facilitate the exchange process at the Kerem Shalom crossing and the European Gaza Hospital.
Hamas announced the release of 600 Palestinian prisoners in the seventh batch, stressing that the occupation has no choice but to start negotiations for the second phase. The movement also renewed its commitment to the ceasefire agreement, calling on mediators to continue pressuring the occupation to abide by the agreements.
The process of handing over the bodies of four Israeli prisoners by the resistance took place, coinciding with the release of Palestinian prisoners.
