Gaza - Saba:
The resistance factions have completed the first phase of the agreement, spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" on Thursday, expressing their readiness to proceed with the negotiations of the second phase.
The resistance has committed to the terms of the agreement, but the occupation is still obstructing its humanitarian protocol, Abdul Latif Al-Qanou added in a press statement.
"We have thwarted all the occupation's justifications and flimsy reasons and blocked their path, and we are ready to proceed with the negotiations of the second phase."
Al-Qanou stated that the resistance has obligated the occupation to the mechanism of the simultaneous release of prisoners to prevent the occupation from procrastinating or hesitating and delaying, adding: "The release of prisoners and the effects of torture and abuse on them reflect the ugly face of the occupation and its lack of humanitarian standards."
The Hamas spokesman explained that the occupation's attempt to thwart the agreement and evade it will further complicate the scene and increase the suffering of its prisoners, stressing that the occupation bears the consequences of that.
Speaking about the management of the Gaza Strip, he said: "Any national formula or internally agreed framework for the management of the Gaza Strip is acceptable to us and we are ready to make it a success."
This morning, the enemy authorities released the seventh batch of prisoners from the "Flood of the Free" deal; as part of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange understandings with the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, after delaying their release for more than a week.
In a previous statement today, Hamas confirmed that it "imposed synchronization in the process of handing over the bodies of the enemy prisoners with the release of our heroic prisoners to prevent the occupation from continuing to evade the agreement's requirements."
