Sana'a - Saba:
A workshop was concluded in Sana'a to discuss the Outputs of the first phase of the Agricultural Natural Resources Map, organized by the Irrigation Sector of the Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation with the Water and Environment Center at Sana'a University.
Participants stressed the importance of scientific studies in setting agricultural development strategies, emphasizing the need to develop natural resources maps, and adhere to modern standards to create a unified national database to support investment and development.
Researchers and academics from various universities and government agencies participated in the workshop, where soil and water conditions, land uses, and crop composition in the targeted governorates were evaluated.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Irrigation Officer, Engineer
Abbas Hiba, and the Director of the Water and Environment Center, Dr. Taha Al-Washli, and the participants were honored with certificates of appreciation.
