The Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik al-Houthi, expressed congratulations to the Yemenis and the Islamic nation on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a speech delivered this evening during an expanded meeting attended by scholars and state leaders to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, the commander offered his best congratulations and blessings to the entire Islamic nation, the Yemenis, those marabouts on the fronts , all those who are in the framework of jihadist tasks and in the position of responsibilities on the advent of the month of Ramadan.
"It has been customary to speak on the last Friday of the month of Sha'ban over the past years to draw attention to the month of Ramadan, and to prepare mentally and psychologically to approach the blessed month with due attention and not be affected by the usual routine," he said.
The Revolution Leader pointed out that the state of routine makes people not realize the great importance and great opportunity of the blessed month of Ramadan. He pointed out that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) used to urge people to take care of Ramadan and take advantage of it as a great opportunity.
"There is a big difference between entering the month of Ramadan in a routine and entering it in a state of mental and psychological readiness, and this Friday is the last day of Sha'aban, so the start of the holy month of Ramadan from tomorrow, Saturday," he added.
He explained that the Yemeni people are one of the most interested in the month of Ramadan, honoring it , turning to good deeds, and with the positive outlook towards Ramadan from everyone in the Islamic community, there is a gap between the outlook, interest and practical investment that varies from one people to another.
He continued, "There is still a great importance for man to push himself with advice, reminders and good exhortation to take advantage of this opportunity, in light of the corrupt satanic war against this nation with the aim of keeping it from taking advantage of such great opportunities."
The Leader pointed out that the Ummah in general, in what it is going through at this stage of its history from major challenges and dangers, needs what benefits it and provides it with protection against these dangers. He pointed out that the satanic and corrupting warfare called "soft warfare" aims to mislead the nation intellectually, culturally, and in its vision and orientation.
He emphasized that the Ummah needs to be protected from the very serious consequences resulting from its negligence and neglect of its responsibilities. He explained that the great opportunities in which God multiplies the reward and makes them seasons for answering prayers and helps the Muslim to solve many of life's issues and avoid divine sanctions.
He pointed out that the month of Ramadan is the season of good deeds, obedience and turning to God with worship, most notably Laylat al-Qadr, which acquires its very great importance in terms of virtue, doubling the reward , answering prayers, and has a very great importance related to the lives of Muslims.
He went on to say, "If we do not accept these opportunities and do not invest in them and benefit from them, they will pass by us and we will lose them." You have an opportunity in the month of Ramadan to win that God will write you success in the rest of your life , survive His torment and be one of the people of Paradise.
According to Sayyid Al-Houthi, the importance of the blessed month of Ramadan lies in the fact that Allah opens all the gates of paradise for you and offers you His paradise. "Do you want paradise and eternal happiness?" he asked.
He emphasized that the biggest danger to man and the biggest thing that affects himself negatively is sins. He pointed out that people do themselves a disservice when they waste the precious time of Ramadan on trivial things or sins, or waste it in a state of idleness.
He explained that "guarding the tongue is one of the most important things a person needs in the month of Ramadan because many sins come through it, which are dangerous , frustrate the acceptance of deeds, and man needs to close his eyes to what is not permissible to look at, all human senses and wounds are guarded and protected from sins."
He pointed out that "the gain from fasting is very important , it is a gain for us, but God is rich in us , our deeds, and man is keen by nature to save himself, and the great danger to man is the violation of God's directives and instructions that protect him, and every instruction from God in his command, prohibition, guidance and light is for what is good for man, and the violation behind it is evil."
He also emphasized that most regimes are in humiliation before the Jews and Christians and before America and Israel, as a result of violating the directives of God Almighty and turning away from His guidance. He pointed out that a person needs self-cultivation, guidance, rationality, awareness, understanding , insight, and if he does not have this, he has a lack of taqwa.
The Revolution Leader expressed regret that the nation is far from focusing on being guided by the Holy Qur'an in confronting the Israeli enemy and assessing its reality accordingly. "In the face of the U.S.-Israeli enemy, the nation has come up with very stupid and naive options, such as the option of silence and surrender to defend itself from danger," he added.
He denounced the idea of offering a trillion dollars to the enemy, considering that this is extremely stupid and naive in the face of the evil, malice and hatred that the enemy holds for you.
He said, "In the month of Ramadan, wages are doubled to seventy times in the minimum, but with Laylat al-Qadr, the multiplication is very large and reaches tens of thousands, and a person can travel a distance and make a leap in the month of Ramadan equal to a whole lifetime, and this is a great opportunity, and man in the month of Ramadan needs to have specific concerns such as turning to Allah, repentance, getting rid of sins, accounting for oneself, and making a firm decision to invest time and beware of wasting it." He urged the Muslim man to search in the month of Ramadan in his reality if there are injustices, sins or aspects of negligence to be eliminated.
Sayyid leader urged Muslims to look into the reality of Ramadan and see if there are any grievances, sins or shortcomings to get rid of them, and to be determined to invest the opportunity of its days as the Almighty said "numbered days." He stressed the need to pay attention to the performance of the obligatory rituals.

He called for paying attention to the recitation of the Holy Qur'an , God's guidance, and giving great importance to this, as well as Qur'anic lessons and lectures.
He continued, "Prayer is very important in the month of Ramadan and one of the greatest seasons for prayer, and we should pay more attention to charity in the month of Ramadan, as it is the month of compassion, and charity is one of the greatest karbat to Allah Almighty."
Sayyid Al-Houthi also urged people to pay attention to giving zakat in this holy month. He emphasized that neglecting it is a great sin and neglecting one of the pillars of Islam.
He added, "Attention should be paid to praying at night, as it is one of the great offerings, as well as reviving mosques for those who are not on the fronts, because worship in mosques has a greater value and a greater reward."
He warned against wasting time and wasting the holy month of Ramadan in distracting with soap operas and tours, as well as cautioning against bad associates who have a great role in misleading and corrupting Muslims and wasting their time.
"We are in one of the most dangerous stages, and the enemies are targeting us with satanic warfare to mislead us and with hard military warfare to destroy our nation," he said. He emphasized that the enemies are highly ambitious for the nation, and we, as the Yemeni people, are moving in the direction of faith based on the faith-based identity.
He pointed out the need for people to interact more at this stage. He pointed out that the month of Ramadan was one of the most important stages of jihad in the way of Allah, citing the Great Battle of Badr, which is the Day of Al-Furqan, the events of which took place in the month of Ramadan, an important occasion that should be revived and utilized.
The leader considered the Battle of Badr and the conquest of Mecca as one of the most important historical events that had consequences that will last until the Day of Judgment, establishing the pillars of Islam and destroying the falsehood of disbelief and misguidance. He emphasized that the Ummah needs to draw lessons from the biography of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and return to it to recall its sacred and great responsibility.
"We, as the Yemeni people, moved in the framework of supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance to confront the Zionist enemy," he said, "We as the Yemeni people moved in the framework of supporting the Mujahideen in Palestine and Lebanon to confront the Israeli enemy in one of the most important rounds in the battle of 'Al-Aqsa Flood'.
He reiterated that Yemen is constantly monitoring the situation in Gaza. "We constantly monitor the situation in Gaza and note the extent to which the Israeli enemy is evading full compliance with the agreement," he added.
The revolutionary leader explained that a large part of the commitments related to the humanitarian aspect have not been fulfilled by the Zionist enemy, and it is evading other commitments, including withdrawal from the Rafah axis. "The enemy's evasion of the withdrawal from the Rafah axis is a serious violation of the agreement and a reversal of the enemy's commitments with American encouragement and support," he said.
"The Israeli enemy's evasion of withdrawal from the Rafah axis constitutes a clear and explicit violation of previous agreements between the Israeli enemy and Egypt," he said. He emphasized that the Israeli enemy's failure to withdraw from the Rafah axis poses a threat to the Palestinian people and to the people, government and army of Egypt.
He pointed out that the Israeli enemy is betting in its evasion of the agreements on the American position , support, invoking the American permission, and did the same thing in Lebanon, did not complete its withdrawal from southern Lebanon completely , remained in positions inside Lebanon, which constitutes an occupation , a threat to the Lebanese people, a violation of Lebanese sovereignty, and a clear violation of the agreements.
The Israeli enemy is expanding and occupying more in three provinces in southern Syria, and at the same time the enemy entity assumes from the Lebanese people and its mujahideen in Hezbollah, the Lebanese resistance, Syria, Gaza, Egypt and everyone that no one will object to anything or take any action to confront its occupation, control and aggression.
He stated that the Israeli enemy continues its aggression by killing with airstrikes and at the same time shooting and attacking people in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza, and so on the part of the Egyptians not to move with military reinforcements to Sinai at a time when he violated the agreement with them and bypassed them.
He pointed out that the Israeli and American are working together to establish the equation of permissiveness against the nation, and they clearly want the nation to be permissible and not to object to any American or Israeli aggression against it, not to object or protest in the face of that, occupying its land , not having the right to object, the issue is buffer zones, strategic sites and wealth that the American wants.
Sayyid leader described the American and Israeli dealings at this stage as unprecedented insolence towards the nation. "If our nation takes the right stance, it will deter the Americans and Israelis," he added.
He pointed out that the Americans and Israelis can only be deterred by correct positions, and by assuming responsibility in confronting them because they are evil , mean people, and they do not value anything from the Arabs, no matter how much they tolerate them , concede to them, they brazenly deny their obligations , agreements and consider them binding only on the Arabs.
He continued, "Trump spoke brazenly about displacing the people of Gaza and controlling and owning it with all insolence, and he wanted to confiscate the entire agreement and previously set Saturday in one of the weeks that had passed as a deadline for the removal of all Israeli prisoners without completing the agreement or exchanging prisoners, and threatened war, but this did not happen and the matter is not what he wanted." He went on to say, "We were ready for military intervention if Trump opened a war at that stage.

He emphasized the constant endeavor to develop military capabilities and prepare for all the elements of strength we need, especially at the level of awareness, internal stability and preparation for what is needed in order to be ready to move effectively on any day, time or stage that calls for intervention to support the Palestinian or Lebanese peoples or any of the peoples of the nation that the Americans and Israelis tend to conquer, or to face any aggression against our country.
"We move from the general perspective, within the framework of our major responsibilities as one nation, and we do not look from the perspective of fragmentation that we do not care about what is happening there , every threat and danger to the Palestinian people is a threat to the rest of the nation," he added.
He reviewed what the Palestinian people in the West Bank are subjected to in terms of aggression and continuous attacks. He emphasized that it has become clear that Israel is seeking to displace Palestinians even from the West Bank, which requires us to be vigilant and ready for any level of developments in the West Bank that calls for comprehensive action or in Gaza or towards the Lebanese arena or any other arena or towards the aggression against our country.
He continued, "God granted us a great position in supporting Al-Aqsa flood battle, but it is within the framework of a round that has not yet ended, we will remain ready , continue, and one of the greatest gains of piety, its fruits and manifestations of commitment to piety is the spirit of jihad , movement in the way of God to confront tyranny , criminality, any tyranny is greater and shameless than the Israeli and American tyranny."
