The General Authority for Zakat, in coordination with the Social Welfare Department of the Ministry of Defense, inaugurated on Wednesday a project to support Isnad Medical Hospital for psychiatric patients at a cost of 118 million and 331 thousand riyals.
At the inauguration, Zakat Authority Chairman Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nishtan emphasized the authority's keenness to provide support to this category of society.
He pointed out that the Zakat Authority continues to support the hospital and provide what it requires to develop and expand the services it provides to patients as a duty towards this segment of society.
Abu Nashtan discussed the responsibility and duty of concerned institutions, financiers and philanthropists to support these centers and hospitals that provide free humanitarian services to patients.
