Sana'a - Saba:
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources condemned the US aggression's targeting of the cotton gin in Zabid district in Hodeida governorate for the second time.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry condemned this criminal act, which reflects the level of decadence reached by the US aggression, its obsession with destroying infrastructure, and its deepening suffering of the Yemeni people.
The statement noted that the cotton gin in Zabid is an important economic facility upon which farmers and local industries depend, stressing that targeting it is a crime aimed at destroying the agricultural sector and depriving citizens of their sources of income.
It noted that the US aggression's persistent targeting of civilian objects and service facilities, including the cotton gin, is a flagrant violation of international laws and norms and aims to exacerbate the humanitarian and living suffering of the Yemeni people.
The Ministry of Agriculture held the United States fully legally and humanitarianly responsible for the repercussions of these crimes, calling for urgent international action to halt the repeated violations against the Yemeni people and hold their perpetrators accountable.
