Sana'a - Saba:
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer met today in Sana'a with former Prime Minister of the sisterly Republic of Iraq, Adel Abdul Mahdi, who is currently visiting our country to attend the third conference "Palestine: The Central Issue of the Nation."
During the meeting, Minister Amer welcomed the former Iraqi Prime Minister to his second home, Yemen, emphasizing the depth of fraternal Yemeni-Iraqi relations at all official and popular levels.
He explained the importance of Abdul Mahdi's participation in the Palestine Conference, which represents the stance of Yemen's leadership, government, and people regarding the injustice suffered by the Palestinian people. He indicated that the position of the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik al-Houthi, represented the highest ceiling in this approach when he adopted the option of direct military confrontation with the terrorist states of America and Israel, supported by the Yemeni people.
For his part, the former Iraqi Prime Minister expressed his great pleasure at visiting Yemen, given the international model its people, led by Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, have become. Their courage, principles, and responsibility toward the suffering of the people of Gaza are embodied in their support for those defending their land, honor, and religion.
The third conference, "Palestine: The Central Issue of the Nation," is scheduled to be held from the 22nd to the 25th of Ramadan in the capital, Sana'a.
