The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) said that the statements made by Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, calling for settlement expansion, and the approval of the occupation's "cabinet" to separate 13 small settlements and recognize them as independent settlements, are measures that fall within the context of the ongoing war of extermination against our people.

The PFLP added in a press statement today, Sunday, that these measures reveal the occupation's intentions to impose a new reality in the West Bank by swallowing up land and forcibly displacing and uprooting our people.

It indicated that they coincide with the widespread incursion into cities and camps in the northern West Bank, the ongoing war crimes and ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip, the continued bombing of civilian homes, and the targeting, besieging, and shooting of displaced persons, especially in Rafah.

The Front affirmed that these crimes, which amount to war crimes and ethnic cleansing, are being committed with clear American cover and support, shameful international complicity, and Arab silence that has failed to stir the global conscience, which has remained in a deep slumber.

This reflects double standards and blatant complicity with the occupation. It emphasized that this silence contributes to prolonging the aggression and gives the occupation the green light to continue its crimes without deterrence.
