The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Monday that it had arrested an employee of a regulatory body within Russia on suspicion of treason and working for Kyiv.

According to the FSB investigation, the arrested employee passed information to the Ukrainian side about the protection of border areas, deployment sites of Russian armed forces, and energy facilities in the border region, according to Sputnik.

Sputnik indicated that the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has opened a criminal case under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code (treason against the state).
