Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) mourns the martyred prisoner Walid Ahmed (17 years old), from the town of Silwad in the Ramallah Governorate, who died in Megiddo Prison. Hamas affirms that the enemy continues its crimes against our heroic prisoners in its jails through torture and deliberate medical neglect.
In a press statement on Monday, Hamas said that the torture and abuse our prisoners are being subjected to is a full-fledged war crime, violating all international and humanitarian conventions and embodying the extremist policy of the enemy government to kill prisoners through slow execution.
Hamas warned that the continuation of these violations against prisoners will not go unanswered. Our people and our resistance remain committed to our free prisoners, whose will will not be broken by the enemy's brutality, and whose certainty that their freedom is imminent and inevitable will not be taken away from them.
Hamas called on all humanitarian and human rights organizations to assume their responsibilities and take urgent action to pressure the enemy to halt its crimes against prisoners.
Hamas called on the masses of our people in the West Bank to continue their mobilization and support in support of the prisoners and in defense of our people's just causes.
