Occupied Quds - Saba:
Channel 13 reported on Tuesday that an Israeli reserve soldier committed suicide at an Israeli army base.
The channel explained that the soldier committed suicide after serving more than 300 days in the reserves over the past year and a half, noting that the Israeli Military Police are investigating the incident.
Previous data published by the Rehabilitation Department of the Israeli Ministry of Defense at the end of last year indicated that it received 10,056 wounded and injured from the war and events of October 7, noting that it was receiving more than 1,000 new casualties per month as a result of the ongoing battles.
The data showed that 35% of the injured suffered from psychological reactions or post-traumatic stress disorder, and 37% suffered from limb injuries. Sixty-eight percent of the injured were reserve soldiers, most of them young, including 51% aged 18-30 and 31% aged 30-40.
