Baghdad – Saba: The Iraqi national team lost to its Palestinian counterpart, 2-1, in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Alsumaria reported that Ayman Hussein scored Iraq's opening goal midway through the first half in the 34th minute. The Palestinian team equalized in the 88th minute, and then scored the lead in the fourth minute of extra time after the second half.
