Iraqi security forces announced the arrest of seven ISIS members in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq, and Kirkuk and Nineveh, northern Iraq.
Security sources stated in statements published on Wednesday that the operations were based on accurate intelligence information.
The sources added that security forces carried out precise ambushes and raids targeting ISIS positions, resulting in their arrest.
Iraqi forces, supported by airstrikes, continue to conduct search and raid campaigns against ISIS remnants in remote and mountainous areas in the northeastern and western governorates of Iraq.
