Rabat - Saba:
The Moroccan Unity and Reform Movement called for unified efforts to pressure the Zionist enemy to halt the forced displacement and genocide against Palestinians, stressing that the enemy poses a threat to Arab and Islamic national security.
This came in a statement issued last night by the movement, which is the advocacy arm of the Moroccan Justice and Development Party, in the context of the escalating genocide in Gaza and the West Bank.
It said: "We call on all bodies and organizations to unite, intensify, and redouble their efforts to pressure for an end to the forced displacement and barbaric genocide being perpetrated against the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip."
Almost daily, thousands of Moroccans participate in ongoing protests, denouncing the enemy's resumption of its genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.
The movement called on Arab and Muslim rulers and their governments to review their positions and assume their responsibilities in supporting the Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, and Quds, stressing that "the Zionist entity represents the most dangerous enemy of the nation and poses a direct threat to its national security and shared future."
The movement called on the Moroccan people to engage extensively in various forms of popular support for the Palestinian resistance, whether through participation in solidarity events and protests or through social media and digital platforms.
The statement praised "the legendary Palestinian steadfastness led by the Palestinian resistance, supported by its popular base, despite the heavy price it has paid in defense of the land and people, and Islamic holy sites, foremost among them." The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is constantly subjected to Judaization attempts.
The movement affirmed that supporting the Palestinian people represents a religious, historical, and civilizational duty incumbent upon the Islamic nation, its rulers and peoples, and it is also a responsibility that falls upon all free people around the world.
