Al-Khalil – SABA:
The Israeli occupation has refused to hand over the Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil for the fourth consecutive Friday, preventing access to its facilities, courtyards, and gates, including the eastern gate, according to Palestinian Minister of Religious Affairs, Mohammad Mustafa Najm.
In a statement issued Thursday evening, Najm emphasized that the ministry refuses to accept the mosque in an incomplete state, as doing so would imply acceptance of the occupation’s restrictions. He reiterated that this stance was made clear at the beginning of Ramadan and will remain unchanged until the occupation retracts its violations of Muslims' right to pray across the mosque’s entire courtyards, prayer areas, and corridors.
The minister urged Palestinians to protect the Ibrahimi Mosque by gathering in large numbers and traveling there for Friday prayers, reinforcing the Islamic identity of the site and resisting the occupation’s Judaization efforts.
