In coastal areas, the center indicated that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy, with light to moderate rainfall expected on the Socotra Archipelago. Winds will be active to strong along the southern west coast, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden, ranging in speed from 15 to 25 knots, causing rough seas and high waves.
In desert areas, the weather will be relatively dusty, with light to moderate winds, sometimes active during the day.
The National Center of Meteorology warned citizens in the aforementioned areas of cold weather during the night and early morning hours, especially for the elderly, children, the sick, and workers during the evening and early morning hours.
It warned citizens in areas expected to experience rain to avoid valleys and flood channels during and after rainfall. It also warned seafarers and fishermen in the southern Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden of rough seas and high waves.
