Moscow - Saba:
The press office of Rostec Corporation announced on Saturday that the Russian Aerospace Forces will receive the first batch of Su-35S fighters in 2025.
Sputnik quoted the office as saying in a statement: "The United Aviation Industry Corporation, part of Rostec Corporation, delivered the first batch of the new Su-35S multirole fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces this year."
It is noteworthy that the 4++ generation fighters have passed a full cycle of factory tests and have been accepted by the technical staff. Additionally, they have been tested in various operating modes by pilots from the Russian Ministry of Defense. The aircraft have now landed at their respective air bases.
Rostec First Deputy Director General Vladimir Artyakov explained through his press office that aircraft manufacturers are fulfilling their commitments to supply the troops with new aircraft, and that companies have new batches of aircraft systems of varying readiness that will be transferred as part of this year's state defense order.
The Su-35S, as Rostec describes it, is a transitional link to fifth-generation aircraft systems.
The new engines, equipped with a digital control system and controlled thrust vectoring, significantly improve the aircraft's flight performance and maneuverability.
