Tulkarm - Saba:
For the 62nd consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp, and for the 49th day, against the Nour Shams camp in the occupied West Bank, amid ongoing escalation and the deployment of military reinforcements including vehicles and bulldozers.
The Palestinian News Agency reported on Saturday that Israeli occupation forces had sent new military reinforcements to the Nour Shams camp, including heavy machinery and bulldozers, amid an ongoing military campaign and a stifling siege. Israeli occupation soldiers fired flares in the al-Mahjar neighborhood and deployed around Jabal al-Salihin inside the camp, amid extensive search operations.
It explained that the Tulkarm camp is witnessing a widespread military presence within its neighborhoods and alleys, as Israeli occupation soldiers continue to raid homes after breaking down their doors and vandalizing their contents. This coincides with the continued displacement of residents of the al-Hadaida and al-Raba'a neighborhoods after being forced out of their homes by Israeli occupation forces under threat, and the seizure of dozens of homes and converting them into military barracks.
In a related development, Israeli forces intensified their military presence throughout the city, setting up flying checkpoints at its entrances, particularly at Faroun Roundabout to the south, Al-Salam Roundabout to the east, and Nablus Street opposite Tulkarm refugee camp, as well as in the Dhnaba suburb near the Al-Attar platforms.
Israeli forces also arrested two young men from the Dhnaba suburb east of Tulkarm before releasing them later.
It is worth noting that the ongoing aggression on the city and its camps has resulted in the deaths of 13 citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been injured and arrested, and more than 4,000 families have been forcibly displaced from the Tulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, along with dozens of families from the northern neighborhood of the city after their homes were seized and several converted into military barracks.
The aggression also caused widespread destruction to the infrastructure, including homes, shops, and vehicles, which were completely and partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted, and stolen. 396 homes were completely destroyed and 2,573 partially destroyed in the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, in addition to the closure of their entrances and alleys with earth mounds.
