Occupied al-Quds - Saba:
Massive demonstrations erupted in Jaffa (Tel Aviv) on Saturday evening, with protesters demanding the release of Israeli prisoners held in the Gaza Strip and an end to the ongoing aggression.
Zionist media reported that the demonstrations called for the swift completion of a prisoner exchange deal and rejected calls for the dismissal of the head of the Shin Bet and the Attorney General.
The protests were triggered by the release of a new video by Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, featuring an Israeli prisoner in what appeared to be a distressed psychological state. The prisoner, identified as "Prisoner No. 22," appealed to Israeli labor unions (the Histadrut) to pressure the government into finalizing a swap deal.
In the recording, titled "Time is Running Out," the prisoner made an emotional plea, asking, "Where are my rights? I've worked under the banner of the labor unions for 15 years, and I've never asked for anything. This time, I'm just asking: Get me out of here. Don't I deserve it?" The video and the prisoner's statement have intensified public pressure on the Israeli government to secure the release of the hostages.
