Bayern Munich climbed to the top of the Bundesliga table after a 3-2 victory against visiting St. Pauli at the Allianz Arena on Saturday evening.
Harry Kane opened the scoring for Bayern in the 17th minute, assisted by Michael Olise. St. Pauli quickly responded with an equalizer from Ilyes Saad in the 27th minute, resulting in a 1-1 score at halftime.
After the break, Leroy Sané put Bayern back in the lead in the 53rd minute, again with an assist from Olise. Sané then scored his second goal in the 71st minute, this time assisted by Kane, extending Bayern's lead.
Despite a late goal from St. Pauli's Lars Retzka in added time, Bayern secured the 3-2 victory.
The win puts Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table with 65 points, six points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen. St. Pauli remains in 15th place with 25 points.
