Speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammed Al-Aidaroos, sent Eid al-Fitr congratulatory cables to a number of heads of senates and Shura councils in Arab and African countries.
These included President of the Moroccan House of Councillors, Mohamed Ould Rachid; Secretary-General of the Association of Similar Councils, Abdulwasea Youssef Ali; and Assistant Secretaries-General of the Association, Mohammed Al-Tayeb and Akweem Nkemjiya.
Al-Aidaroos also congratulated the Speaker of the Omani Shura Council, Sheikh Khalid Al-Maawali, and the Chairman of the Omani Council of State, Dr. Yahya Al-Mandhari, wishing them health and well-being. He prayed to God to bring this occasion back to Yemen and the Islamic nation with blessings and prosperity.
